A near-duplicate is more dangerous than an exact stack because it can leave a widened kerf instead of an obvious second traversal. Inspect both object count and coordinate offset before deleting geometry.

Reveal the stacked objects

1. Duplicate the file and lock the untouched source.

2. Select by layer and inspect object count around the hot edge.

3. Move one suspected path temporarily to reveal a stack.

4. Restore or delete based on the intended design.

5. Use a tiny square or representative corner as the physical proof.
