Keep the test small and reversible

Record the first position with a ruler or photograph. Do not slide the sheet, adjust the fixture or change the file between checks. If the software supports non-firing framing, compare that path before any second mark. Stop if the movement sounds abnormal or the result differs.
- Record a baseline mark and the active origin mode.
- Use the normal safe home or reset sequence from the actual machine instructions.
- Compare the same coordinate again, with the material still fixed.
- If repeatability fails, stop and consult the manufacturer or qualified support.
- If it passes, review the flip, target order and alignment method.
Do not dismantle a powered machine or tighten moving parts while preparing a customer job. The purpose of this check is to decide which class of issue you have, not to prescribe a universal hardware repair.
