X1S Pro 800×2000mm: Workshop Buyer Review

X1S Pro 800×2000mm: Workshop Buyer Review

This X1S Pro 800 × 2000 mm buyer review evaluates the published configuration and the proof a workshop should request before ordering. It is not a report of six weeks of completed customer jobs. Previous copies of this page included unverified shop stories, measured speeds and cut results; those numbers should not be treated as product evidence. TYVOK X1S Pro is a blue diode machine with a moving X/Y-axis head, and the selected long-format bundle determines the practical setup.

What the 800 × 2000 mm format solves

A long workspace is useful when a sign, panel or repeated row of blanks would otherwise need several repositions. Begin with the actual production drawing: outer blank, finished artwork, margins, clamps, support and any defect zones. A nominal 800 mm by 2000 mm area does not mean an 800 mm by 2000 mm finished product can be processed without clearance. Check whether the offer includes the long Y-axis arrangement or requires a chosen extension. Confirm a stable support surface and a loading path in the shop before buying.

The X1S Pro product page currently lists 20W and 60W diode choices for the long-format product. Do not substitute an old 40W-only description for the selected variant. The machine is not a 1064 nm fiber system, a CO₂ tube or a galvo. For production, the important question is whether a specific diode configuration produces the desired finish and cycle time on the buyer's stock. Power alone does not establish a cut depth.

Separate materials by a testable result

Wood and laser-suitable plywood are sensible first samples. Record species, thickness, adhesive construction, surface finish, air flow, focus, pass count and any edge cleanup. If the customer wants a structural fit, test the final assembled part rather than judging only a photo of a cut line. A claim that all plywood of a named thickness cuts in one pass is not reliable without the complete setup.

For acrylic, identify the exact color and composition. Dark or opaque stock may respond differently from clear sheet; a blue diode should not be presented as a universal clear-acrylic cutter. Do not test unknown plastics that may release hazardous fumes. Coated metal, glass and other materials need separate material-specific approval; do not assume an image of one product proves an entire material list. If your main revenue depends on clear acrylic, compare a specifically suitable CO₂ machine such as TYVOK K1.

Item to verify Evidence to ask for
Configuration Exact power variant, field and included parts
First part Sample on the same material lot and artwork
Repeatability Second part after removing and replacing the blank
Cycle time Whole-job timing including loading and cleaning
Workshop fit Bench, ventilation, supervision and access space

How to make an honest comparison

Use the same artwork and blank for any comparison with a smaller diode, galvo or CO₂ machine. Each class has a different purpose. A compact galvo may mark a small item quickly but cannot be assumed to handle a long panel; a CO₂ machine can be appropriate for certain acrylic jobs but has different maintenance and safety requirements. Do not claim an eleven-times speed advantage, a 0.12 mm return-to-origin result, or a 40–50% monthly throughput gain without a measured, repeatable test with its conditions.

Include operator steps in the budget: artwork approval, material prep, job preview, marking or cutting, inspection and packaging. Current price depends on the selected region and configuration. An old base-price quote cannot tell you what the long-format, platform and accessory combination costs today. Model payback using your own orders, accepted-piece margin and expected utilization; do not use an invented customer case as financial proof.

What to check at delivery

Verify the invoice against the selected bundle, inspect the frame and laser module label, follow the current setup instructions and perform a small alignment test before a full-size job. Keep the first accepted sample and settings with the production file. Pause and requalify when the plywood supplier, acrylic grade, module, fixture or artwork changes. Use appropriate extraction and active fire supervision for the tested material.

Was this page based on a six-week shop test? No. Use a supplier or your own sample for performance decisions.

Can it cut clear acrylic or bare metal as a general claim? No. Match the laser and material through specific testing.

What makes the 800 × 2000 mm option worth buying? A demonstrated long-format job that fits the setup and earns enough contribution after real handling costs. Review current X1S Pro variants and purchase options before ordering.
