Plan the actual job
Choose pre-cut wooden tags for the first trial so the job concentrates on personalization. Create a reserved area around the hole, then position the name and a short greeting below it. Separate the tag identifier from the visible message in your order sheet. Print a paper proof at actual size before using a blank; this quickly exposes lettering that only looks readable when enlarged on screen.
Inspect before making a batch
Read the tag at arm's length, check the string clearance and match each tag to its gift. The P2 2W configuration costs €169 at checkout; the tag blanks and packing materials are separate budget items.
